Overall, the examples that you mentioned of McCarthy using the colors to describe what the Earth has become. I thought the description of the ash was very well done. Also, I do not know if this was done on purpose, but half way through the post the font changes. Also, for further blog posts it would be helpful to the reader to make the font bigger and easier to read. At an old age of 17 I had trouble focusing and reading the small text.
